In a gesture of solidarity with the flood-affected people of Assam, St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Harmutty, a Don Bosco institution, came forward to extend financial assistance of rupees two lakhs to flood victims in Sivasagar district. A delegation from the school travelled to Sivasagar to assess the situation of the flood-affected people and extend support to families struggling with the aftermath of the devastating floods. The relief fund was raised through the generous contributions of the teachers, students, parents and past pupils of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Harmutty.
Don Bosco Tech Society, Delhi, led a relief operation that reached 450 families across seven Gaon Panchayats in the Titabor Revenue Circle, with 25 youth volunteers helping pack and distribute essential relief materials.

Jaigaon, Nashik, February 12, 2026: Jaigaon village in Sinnar Block marked a significant step forward in girls’ education and empowerment as 30 school-going girls received bicycles under the Sustainable Energy, Education and Development (SEED) initiative. Don Bosco Kalvi Solai, through its initiative ‘Butterfly Express’, proudly inaugurates the first Village School Library at Don Bosco Tamil Medium Higher Secondary School, Gedilam, Kallakurichi District, a school that caters to nearly thousand very deserving poor children from the villages around, since 1999. This initiative aims to foster a love for reading among rural students by providing access to quality books and learning resources.
