Don Bosco Avsar Chinchwad took a proactive step in addressing the growing crisis of youth unemployment by organizing the Mini Job Fair 2025. Invitations were sent to young job seekers, particularly college and ITI students who were struggling to find employment. The fair focused on roles in the manufacturing and housekeeping sectors, complemented by a week-long training initiative to refresh and upgrade candidates' technical skills before interviews.

Don Bosco’s Konkan Development Society (KDS), in collaboration with the Verna Industries Association (VIA) and the Office of M.L.A. Shri Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, delivered remarkable results through its recently organized Job Fair in South Goa. The event drew over 270 registered candidates, reflecting the strong local demand for stable career pathways. In a striking outcome, more than 100 youth received job offers on the spot, demonstrating the fair’s effectiveness in rapidly connecting young talent with prospective employers. For many participants, direct access to recruiters eliminated the delays and uncertainties associated with online applications, providing an immediate interview experience and concrete employment opportunities that significantly boosted their confidence and career momentum.

In a significant step toward bridging the gap between education and employment, the AIDA–Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DB JPN), Dimapur, in collaboration with Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram, successfully organized its first-ever Job Fair on October 28, 2025, at Don Bosco College, Maram, Senapati District, Manipur.

Aiming to help young learners make informed career choices, Don Bosco’s Konkan Development Society – Career Guidance and Placement Services, in collaboration with MLA Reginaldo Lourenco, organized a three-hour Career Guidance Workshop at the Village Panchayat Hall, Curtorim, Goa, on October 29, 2025. The event drew 100 participants, including 70 students from Classes 8 to 12 and 30 parents, highlighting the vital role of family support in shaping career decisions.

The Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN), under the aegis of BREADS – Career Guidance and Job Placement Services and Don Bosco College, KR Puram, organized a successful Job Fair on October 25 at Don Bosco College, KR Puram. The event aimed to connect young job seekers with reputed employers and create meaningful career pathways for the youth.

The Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN), under the auspices of the Don Bosco Konkan Development Society, empowered over 25 young job seekers from Goa and Karnataka through a two-day initiative that combined employability skills training with participation in the Prime Minister's National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) 2025 Job Fair. The event was held on September 26 at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, organized by the Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Goa, in collaboration with Government ITIs of Margao, Vasco, and Canacona.

Marking a meaningful move towards career empowerment, Don Bosco College, Golaghat, in collaboration with AIDA – Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN), Dimapur, hosted an Employability Skilling Session on August 5. The initiative aimed at bridging the critical gap between education and employment, especially for students from semi-urban and rural backgrounds.

In the wake of International Labour Day 2025, the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DBJPN) launched a nationwide campaign focused on celebrating the dignity of work and expanding access to meaningful employment for young people across India. Through a series of coordinated job fairs and career guidance programs conducted throughout April and May, DBJPN reached more than 1,700 youth and facilitated over 1,200 job offers—transforming lives and opening doors in regions where job opportunities are often limited.

The Youth Fest and Mega Job Mela, held in the Diocese of Srikakulam, was more than just a job fair — it became a platform of hope, identity, and awakening for over 500 rural and tribal youth. Jointly organized by DISHA career guidance and job placement service of Hyderabad Province, Don Bosco Job Placement Network and the Diocese of Srikakulam, the event was a critical response to the deepening challenges of youth unemployment and social stagnation in one of Andhra Pradesh's most underserved districts.

The Don Bosco Skill Development Centre Parvathipuram, Andhra Pradesh, recently concluded a three-month Tally course to equip unemployed youth, mainly from tribal communities, with essential accounting and financial management skills. The initiative, held in Manyam District, attracted 45 participants and marked a significant step toward tackling unemployment and fostering self-reliance in the region.

Don Bosco Vazhikaatti Trichy, a pioneering institute in career guidance, training, and placements in the Province of Trichy, conducted a unique orientation program at Don Bosco Care Home, Nilavarapatti. The program focused specifically on supporting students in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) under the Aftercare Program.

In a significant push toward gender equality and economic empowerment, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti organized a Job Fair dedicated to women's workforce inclusion in Chennai, Tamilnadu. The event provided over 2,500 women job seekers—including fresh graduates and professionals re-entering the workforce—access to employment opportunities, with more than 50 recruiters across diverse industries providing jobs for more than 1500 women. This initiative has contributed to a more inclusive and sustainable future by fostering equal opportunities and career readiness.

In response to rising youth unemployment in Kurnool and its surrounding regions, Don Bosco Dhisha conducted a study to understand the challenges faced by job seekers. Taking decisive action to bridge the gap, Don Bosco Dhisha, in collaboration with the Don Bosco Job Placement Network, organized a job fair at Don Bosco Private ITI, Kurnool, to provide sustainable job opportunities and promote long-term employability. The event brought together 17 companies offering over 750 job vacancies, attracting more than 300 job seekers, with 199 candidates securing employment by the end of the day.
