South Asia 04 Renew Formation Processes (Initial & Ongoing)
Mapping News Coverage with Strategic Goals
Renewing formation, both initial and ongoing, is vital to deepen Salesian identity in Christ and to keep consecrated life vibrant, relevant, and missionary. Formation must be mission-oriented, prioritizing personal accompaniment, vocational discernment, and pastoral charity so that Salesians grow as true educators and pastors of youth. Provinces are called to update curricula, integrate “formation in mission,” foster vocational animation, and adopt synodal methods to ensure holistic growth and fidelity to Don Bosco’s charism.
