Beyond classroom instruction, the Salesians integrate agronomy with community development initiatives. They establish demonstration farms, promote organic farming, and encourage eco-friendly practices that protect natural resources. By linking students with cooperatives, self-help groups, and local markets, they help create pathways for entrepreneurship in agriculture. Their initiatives emphasize dignity in farming, showing youth that agriculture can be both profitable and sustainable when combined with modern technology and responsible stewardship. In this way, the Salesians transform agronomy and agrotech into tools for social upliftment—empowering rural communities to thrive while nurturing a new generation of skilled, environmentally conscious farmers.
