Skill Development & Employment: Agencies partner with Don Bosco Tech to train youth in trades and connect them to industries. Education & Literacy: Collaborations support schools, scholarships, and literacy programs for disadvantaged children. Social Outreach: Joint initiatives address issues like child protection, women’s empowerment, health awareness, and disaster relief. Community Development: Agencies work with Don Bosco Planning and Development Offices (PDOs) to implement projects in rural and urban poor communities.
Bosco Reach Out (BRO) implemented the Strategic Action for Flood Emergency (SAFE) Project in the Mayang Development Block of Morigaon District, Assam, from October 2025 with funding support from United Parcel Service (UPS) through BoscoNet, New Delhi. The initiative covered Niz Chaharia and Gagalmari Gaon Panchayats and reached 12 villages through various disaster preparedness activities.
The Chairperson of the Assam Child Rights Protection Commission (ASCPCR), Dr Shyamal Prasad Saikia IPS (Rtd), highlighted the various Child Protection issues in Assam in his speech as Chief Guest at the Civil Society Leaders Meet organized by Snehalaya on April 30 at Don Bosco Campus, Guwahati. The meeting was part of Snehalaya's efforts to make Guwahati a Child-Friendly City while commemorating 25 years of Juvenile Justice services in India.
BREADS (Bangalore Rural Education And Development Society) and Kerala State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR) jointly organised a State-level Stakeholders’ Workshop on February 29 in Thiruvananthapuram to discuss the status of substance use among the youth in Kerala and the measures needed to address the issue. The Workshop facilitated the active participation of 178 stakeholders from government departments and NGOs.
Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN), in collaboration with Bangalore Rural Education and Development Society (BREADS), organised a unique service for the community of differently-abled job seekers in Bangalore on April 29, 2022. Together with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, JPN organised an exclusive job fair in Bell Hotel – Majestic for more than 100 candidates with varying levels of disability.
