Don Bosco Tech Society launched its TVET SOP Framework at SkillVention 2026, standardising training and institutional processes across its ITI network in India. Developed collaboratively over a year, the framework also advances readiness for NCVET recognition, reinforcing a focus on quality, consistency, and holistic youth development.
Don Bosco School, Thanjavur, marked a milestone in its educational journey on March 23, 2026, with the inauguration of the Orell AI-Driven English Language Lab. Blessed and formally opened by Rev. Fr. Doss Kennedy SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Trichy, the Rs. 30 lakh project represents a transformative step in enhancing language proficiency and empowering students with cutting-edge, CEFR-aligned learning tools. Colosseum 2026, organised at the Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kurla, unfolded as a well-curated two-day festival that combined entrepreneurial dialogue, technical exploration, alumni engagement, and cultural celebration. The event began with an inaugural session at 9:30 a.m., featuring opening remarks by Saad Kazi and Verushka Fernandez, followed by the National Anthem and welcome acknowledgements. Don Bosco Tech Society has been conferred the Gold Award for Excellence in SkillTech and Career Solutions at the Economic Times TechEdu India Awards 2026, marking a significant milestone in its two-decade-long mission to empower youth through skill development. The Gold Award was presented to Fr. George Mathew, Executive Director of the Don Bosco Tech Society, who accepted the honour on behalf of the organisation. The recognition coincides with the Society’s 20-year journey in advancing skill-based education and employability among India’s youth.
The ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), through its Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN) in Dimapur, organised a Career Guidance Session on Competitive Exams on February 20 at the AIDA campus, offering young aspirants preparing for various national and state-level competitive examinations much-needed direction and motivation.

Students of Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong, who qualified through the IndiaSkills State-Level Competition, Meghalaya, represented the state at the IndiaSkills Regional Competition 2025–26 (Northeast Zone) held from 19 to 22 January 2026 at Gauhati University, Guwahati, along with other selected students from Meghalaya. Five students from DBTS participated in the regional-level competition.
