Don Bosco Tech was honoured with the Excellence in Skill Development Award by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) at the FKCCI Industry–Institution Leaders’ Confluence 2026 in Bengaluru, in recognition of its sustained contribution to empowering young people through industry-relevant skills, employability training and livelihood opportunities. State Minister Mr Ajay Dharam Singh presented the award. Fr. Eugene Florence SDB, Director of the Don Bosco Skill Mission (DBSM), received it on behalf of the organisation.
The second cohort of the Data Centre Academy – Data Centre Operations Management Course launched at the Young India Skills University (YISU) – International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad, with 41 young people enrolled in an intensive programme to prepare them for careers in India’s rapidly expanding data centre industry.
