Don Bosco Tech Holds Blood Donation Camp, 15 Volunteers Donate in New Delhi

News reported by: MIS DB TECH

Don Bosco Tech held a voluntary blood donation camp at its National Headquarters in New Delhi on August 3, with members of the Salesian family coming together to promote compassion, service and social responsibility.

The camp was conducted in collaboration with the Gautam Buddh Nagar Charitable Blood Centre and was attended by employees from Don Bosco Tech, SPCI House, and BOSCONET.

Following the mandatory medical screening, 15 volunteers donated blood. The donors included both first-time participants and regular contributors, united by a commitment to helping patients in need. Each donor received a certificate and memento in recognition of the contribution.

The medical and support staff of the Gautam Buddh Nagar Charitable Blood Centre ensured that the donation drive was conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to all prescribed health protocols.

Speaking on the occasion, Divya Agarwal, Manager–Human Resources, Don Bosco Tech, highlighted the significance of the initiative. “Initiatives such as this remind us to look beyond our daily responsibilities and respond with compassion to others' needs. They keep us more human, and even a simple act of generosity can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life,” she said.

The organisation expressed gratitude to all the volunteers, medical personnel and support staff who contributed to the successful camp. It also acknowledged the encouragement and support from the leadership teams of Don Bosco Tech, SPCI House and BOSCONET in fostering voluntary service.
