First-year philosophy students of Salesian College, Dimapur, completed a two-week Skill Development Programme at AIDA, gaining practical skills for youth empowerment and social development. The programme trained students to become effective agents of positive change among youth and marginalised communities.
A Mega Job Fair at Don Bosco College, Kohima, on Saturday offered more than 1,000 job vacancies and aimed to boost employment for young people in Nagaland and the Northeast. A doctoral study conducted at Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Meghalaya, has revealed that private tuition has become an integral part of secondary education in Manipur, driven largely by gaps in classroom instruction, academic pressures, and prolonged disruptions in the state's schooling system. The university is led by Dr Rajan Chopra, Chancellor, and Dr Sagar Onkarrao Manjare, Vice-Chancellor.
On October 25, 2024, a one-day orientation on the Young at Risk (YaR) and Migrant Ministry took place at the Provincial House in Dimapur, Nagaland, aimed at revitalizing these critical ministries.
