First-year philosophy students of Salesian College, Dimapur, completed a two-week Skill Development Programme at AIDA, gaining practical skills for youth empowerment and social development. The programme trained students to become effective agents of positive change among youth and marginalised communities.
Salesian College Sonada hosted the International Tea Conference on 27–28 March 2026, bringing together scholars, industry leaders, and community advocates. Over two days of intense dialogue, the conference reframed Darjeeling Tea as more than a global commodity—it emerged as a heritage, livelihood, and ecological responsibility.
The Provincial delegates of South Asia for Social Communication and Formation met at Don Bosco Institute, Guwahati to discuss on the theme, “Towards a Salesian Proposal for formation in Digital world: Educational Ethics and Pastoral Aesthetics”. The joint meet is scheduled from August 2 to 5. The presence of the Councillor for formation Father Ivo Coelho and the Councillor for Social Communication Father Gildasio Mendes and their team members from Rome, together with the provincials in charge of Communication and Formation at the South Asia level, Father K.M. Jose and Father Jose Koyickal did add a greater force and credibility to the meeting.
