Bible Camp Brings Young People at Mary Immaculate Parish

The Bible Camp for Children 2024, themed Hello Jesus, concluded successfully at Mary Immaculate Parish, Chingmeirong, Manipur, after a four-day event held from October 10 to 13. The camp attracted 517 students and 55 volunteers across the parish and surrounding areas, offering a unique blend of spiritual learning and interactive activities. The sessions covered topics such as the significance of the Bible in modern times, the sacredness of Scripture, the Catholic Church’s teachings, and the universal call to sainthood.

Lay Evangelists tour holy places in Chennai

These could be used as a platform to distribution and access to materials that could cause moral, social and spiritual harm. Nevertheless, the social media have become our virtual courtyard. Therefore, it is important that we move from demonising the medium, to educating young people to its proper use and to developing its potentials to evangelise.

The Covid situation, as in other countries, has further impoverished the small mountainous country, Nepal.
