DB Tech–SBI Foundation Partnership Launches Skill Training for Youth Employment
A new chapter in youth empowerment began with the launch of the DB Tech Skill Training Program, sponsored by SBI Foundation, at PARA, Ravulapalem. The program equipped young people with modern skill sets in Drone Technology and Solar Technology, two rapidly growing fields with immense potential for employment and sustainable development.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the Guest of Honour, Fr. Garlapati Michael Kishore SDB, Vice Provincial of the Hyderabad Province, who commended the joint efforts of DB Tech and SBI Foundation in preparing youth for the future. “This initiative opens doors to new career opportunities and empowers young people with skills that are both relevant and forward-looking,” he said.
Other dignitaries present included Fr. Thomas Pallithanam SDB, Director of DB Tech PARA; Mr. Suresh Babu, Assistant Manager of DB Tech for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; and Mr. N. Srinivas Reddy, Chief Manager of SBI, Ravulapalem. Each highlighted the transformative role of skill training in shaping employable youth and stressed how specialized courses in Drone and Solar Technology can directly contribute to the green economy and sustainable livelihoods.
The program reflects DB Tech’s commitment to aligning its training modules with emerging industries, while SBI Foundation’s sponsorship underlines its dedication to social responsibility and community development. By focusing on advanced technology, the collaboration aims to prepare youth not just for jobs, but for meaningful careers that respond to both economic and environmental needs.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude to the SBI Foundation for its continued support and to DB Tech for its vision in championing skill development as a pathway to youth employment and social progress.
