The tournament began with team registrations, followed by an inaugural ceremony compered by Br. Wanpherbor Lyngdoh Ryntathiang, Dean of Don Bosco Karunapuram. Fr. Donthi Reddy Raja, Rector of Don Bosco Karunapuram Philosophate, delivered the welcome address, encouraging participants to demonstrate sportsmanship and skill. Fr. Balashowry, Rector of St. Xavier’s Major Seminary, formally declared the tournament open.

Matches commenced across two courts according to the fixtures, with the first four teams competing in the opening rounds. Fr. Suman Goli SDB and Fr. Palla Joseph SDB officiated as referees. Teams from different seminaries participated with competitive spirit, supported by members of various religious communities who gathered to watch the matches.

In the final matct, contested between the Don Bosco Brothers and the Montfort Brothers from Fatima Nagar, The Montfort Brothers emerged as winners, securing the rolling trophy, while the Salesian Brothers finished as runners-up.

Br. Wanpher expressed gratitude to participants and acknowledged the collaboration of the Don Bosco Philosophate Karunapuram community and its superiors in organising the event.

The tournament provided an opportunity for inter-seminary interaction and offered participants experience in coordination and leadership alongside competitive sport.
