Around 290 young Garo and Assamese migrant workers gathered at the Shrine of Don Bosco’s Madonna in Matunga on Sunday for a monthly Eucharistic celebration and fellowship organised by the Suraksha Migrant Desk, bringing together migrant youth for prayer and support.

The Province of St. John Paul II, Shillong, held its annual meeting-cum-animation programme at Don Bosco Provincial House, Mawlai, Meghalaya, from October 6 to 8. It brought together 65 principals, community leaders and members of the Provincial Council to review mission priorities. The meeting focused on strengthening Salesian consecrated life, improving institutional leadership and discerning priorities for the Province’s mission.
Salesians in Bangladesh should deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, strengthen community life, and renew their commitment to serving poor and young people, said Fr Fabio Attard, Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, during his maiden visit to the country.
