Deepika Academic Excellence Award goes to Don Bosco College Angadikadavu
In a proud moment for Don Bosco College Angadikadavu, Kerala, the institution was bestowed with the prestigious Deepika Academic Excellence Award at the 137th Annual Celebration of Deepika, the pioneering Malayalam newspaper founded in 1887. The award was presented on February 10th, adding another accolade to the college's illustrious history. Father Dr Bastin Nellissery, the Rector and Manager, along with Father Dr Francis Karackatt, the Principal, were honoured to receive the award from the esteemed guest, the Honourable Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, A. N. Shamseer.
Established in 2002, Don Bosco College Angadikadavu has emerged as a beacon of education in the North Malabar region, nestled amidst the picturesque Western Ghats and adjacent to Coorg. Renowned for its academic and non-academic prowess within Kannur University, the college has been recognized as a model institution by the university authorities.
With a diverse student body comprising over 1200 individuals from various corners of India, Don Bosco College Angadikadavu offers a comprehensive array of courses, including 10 Undergraduate and eight Postgraduate programs. Notably, the college made history by introducing the state's first-ever BSc in Artificial Intelligence in 2023, cementing its commitment to innovative education.
