ADBU to Host International Conference on Renewable Energy with Taiwanese Collaboration
Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) is set to host the International Conference on Emerging and Environment Sustaining Renewable Energy (ICEESRE-2024) on October 24-25, 2024. This conference, a collaborative effort with five Taiwanese universities, aims to promote global progress in renewable energy and ensure access to affordable, reliable, and modern energy by 2030. The contributing Taiwan universities are Cheng Shiu University, National Quemoy University, National Chung Cheng University, Kun Shan University, and Fu Jen Catholic University.
The conference will feature distinguished keynote speakers from leading academic and research institutions. These experts will address critical topics in renewable energy and sustainability. The lineup includes Dr. Wei-Te Chen from Taiwan's Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC), who specializes in smart grid technology, and Dr. Shang-Chou Chang from Kun Shan University, known for his work in renewable energy systems. Their insights will provide valuable perspectives on advancing global renewable energy initiatives.
The objectives of ICEESRE-2024 include:
- Discussing advancements in renewable energy.
- Sharing strategic ideas.
- Building partnerships to support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG-7).
Papers on various sub-themes, such as renewable energy systems, wind power, and hydropower, will be presented, and selected papers will be published in Springer’s "Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering" series, further contributing to the global discourse on renewable energy.
