Salesian Priest Defends Thesis on Fr. Stan Swamy’s Communication Legacy at Rome University
Fr. Sanjay Aind, SDB, Assistant Parish Priest of Sacro Cuore, Rome, successfully defended his Licentiate Thesis at the Faculty of Institutional Social Communication of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome, on June 15. His thesis, entitled “Communicating Hope: A Case Study on Fr. Stan Swamy’s ‘Bagaicha Model’ of Strategic Communications,” examines how Fr. Stan Swamy, SJ, strategically used communication to advocate for tribal rights and empower marginalised communities through the 'Bagaicha Model.'

More than 200 remote tribal residents accessed critical government welfare services at a two-day Government Scheme Facilitation Camp organised by DISHA Don Bosco, Kawant, in the villages of Vagudan and Nanavanta on June 12 and 13, 2026.
Salesian Hyderabad Trains Collaborators to Support Electoral Roll Revision Drive
The Salesian Province of Hyderabad (INH) held an online training workshop on Monday, July 15, to teach Salesians and lay collaborators about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), a process for updating and verifying electoral roll entries. This workshop was held as the SIR process continues in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with civil society groups focused on ensuring electoral accuracy.
