The school received yet another prestigious award for its contribution in the field of education and excellence in the all round formation of the students. Don Bosco High School, Matunga was placed second both in the city of Mumbai and the state of Maharashtra in the Boys School category. The glittering award function was held at Maharashtra Educator`s summit at the Lalit, Mumbai on 14th September 2019. The school was represented by Father Bernard Fernandes SDB, Principal of Don Bosco High School at this summit and awards ceremony.
Education Today is a magazine that is passionate to improve the quality of education in India. To this end, the board of editors and correspondents recognize and celebrate the success of the high performance institutions across the state and country by awarding them ranks across the city, state and country. The rating and the survey are conducted on various parameters - Academic reputation, Individual attention to students, Infrastructure, Innovative teaching, Safety & Hygiene, Sports, Value for money, Co-curricular education, holistic development and Leadership Management Quality. Don Bosco High School, Matunga scored high on most of these parameters and was considered in the top three boys` schools across Maharashtra in the Maharashtra schools survey. Many past pupils, staff and well wishers have congratulated DB Matunga on this achievement.
