Cricket Tournament for Youth Groups at Trichy

Keep the young people active and enthusiastic though sports and from there you lead them to engage in social Activities. Don Bosco Manigandam community organized a cricket tournament for the youth of Manikandam Union on 25 September, 2016 and distributed Prizes to the winners during the Provincial Visitation on 26 September, 2016.
Don Bosco Media community reaches out to nearby 10 villages through its various youth services. It empowers the young through DB Tech - Skill India project, Computer Education, Spoken English Courses and Study Circle to prepare for competitive examinations.
The cricket tournament was mainly organized for 10 teams alone who have registered their names under Don Bosco Youth Group. It was a kick start to coordinate them for greater achievements in their life career.
Fr. Albert Johnson, Provincial of Tiruchy Province, during his canonical visitation to Don Bosco Manikandam, met the members of the youth groups, interacted with them and awarded the winners with Don Bosco Rolling trophy 2016 and medals. The tournament was coordinated by Fr. Barnabas, Youth Director and his team.
