Don Bosco Tech, Nalanda, operates under the Brothers Association for Solidarity and Empowerment (BASE), an organization established to uplift marginalized communities in Biharsharif and the surrounding Nalanda district. Driven by the mission to provide dignified employment, the centre bridges the gap between unskilled youth and the demands of the modern job market through short-term, industry-aligned vocational training.
The centre offers specialized domains tailored to contemporary industry needs:
Digital Mitra: This program equips youth with essential digital literacy, office administration, and customer-centric digital services. It focuses on mastering computer applications, MIS, and digital tools to prepare trainees for administrative and support roles in an increasingly digitized economy.
Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage): This domain provides professional training in hospitality services. Trainees gain hands-on experience in guest interaction, order management, and service delivery, ensuring they are job-ready for the hospitality and restaurant sectors.
By integrating technical inputs with life skills, counselling, and on-the-job training, the Nalanda centre empowers underprivileged youth, providing them with a clear pathway to sustainable livelihoods and personal growth.
