Our Vision

We believe that this society had its beginning in simple catechism lesson

We believe that the education of religious dimension is central to personal development of the young. This dimension helps the young to pass the door of faith to discover the joy of faith.

We believe that faith formation leads the young to intimate relationship with Jesus.

We believe that Salesian Catechesis is not the end point of an activity but part of everything we offer. Catechesis is an essential element of evangelisation of the young.

Through this dimension, we are like Jesus walking the road to Emmaus, listening, educating, celebrating, befriending as a journey of faith in the lives of the young.

Our Mission

To plan and prepare resource materials for the faith formation of youth of all faiths.

To coordinate Salesian catechetical ministries in the provinces of South Asian Region.

To review and renew youth catechesis at South Asian Region with adequate content, skills and animation.

To coordinate the formation of the catechists of the South Asian Region.

To provide a language of faith through the language of youth by way of music, beauty, media, sport, theatre and fun.

To promote an adequate form of sacramental catechesis, especially Eucharist and reconciliation for the young.

To identify and promote a Salesian youth spirituality through education to faith!

To provide a curriculum for catechetical formation of Salesians at the various phases of their formation

To coordinate the forum of Salesian catechetical experts to promote publications, researches in the field of education to faith.

To promote discipleship in Christ through education to faith
