Who is Mother Teresa for you? If you ask a pious Catholic, a simple reply could be: ‘Don't you know? She is a saint’. If I ask a Catholic who is also a good social worker, his reply could be a little more specific: ‘She is a lover of the poor and the abandoned’. Putting these two possible answers coming from two distinct perspectives, I would like to claim that she is a saintly giver, that is, a channel of God's love, a true giver whose selfless service affirmed and promoted life.
