A one-day intensive training programme on Salesian Pedagogy was conducted by Fr. P.D. Johny, Secretary of SPCSA, for 96 teachers of Don Bosco ICSE and CBSE Schools, Chitradurga, at Chitra Don Bosco on 21 May 2026. The workshop, titled “Educating with the Heart of Don Bosco: A Journey into Salesian Pedagogy,” focused on deepening participants’ understanding of Don Bosco’s Preventive System and its relevance in contemporary education. Through interactive sessions, teachers explored practical approaches to creating learner-centred environments rooted in reason, religion, loving kindness, accompaniment, and holistic development. The programme also introduced educators to modern educational theories and effective teaching methodologies, including Multiple Intelligences, Emotional Intelligence, Lateral Thinking, and principles of effective learning.
