40 teachers from Don Bosco ICSE School participated in a one-day intensive training programme on Salesian Pedagogy organised at Hospet, Karnataka on 23 May 2026, which aimed to deepen their understanding of the educational vision and mission inspired by Saint John Bosco.
The workshop, titled “Educating with the Heart of Don Bosco: A Journey into Salesian Pedagogy,” focused on helping educators understand Don Bosco’s Preventive System more profoundly and equipping them with practical methods to apply Salesian educational principles in contemporary classrooms.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Fr. Roshan D’Sa, Rector and Manager of Don Bosco ICSE School, Hospet, who introduced the resource person, Rev. Fr. John Parankimalil, Secretary of the Salesian Provincial Conference of South Asia (SPCSA) and Secretary of the All India Don Bosco Education Society (AIDBES). The training programme was organised under the guidance of Fr. Puthiyaparambil Saji, Principal of the school, who was actively present throughout the sessions.
