Don Bosco Higher Education India (DBHEI) is affiliated to the Salesian Institutes of Higher Learning (IUS), Rome, Italy to cater to the needs of the Higher Education Institutions in the South Asia Region. There are 52 institutions belonging to 12 Provinces of the South Asia Region. Higher education courses offered include Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges, Agricultural colleges, Arts, Commerce and Science Colleges, Colleges of Education and Specialization centres.

The Summit, held at Don Bosco Arts and Science College, garnered attention from enthusiastic youths representing various colleges and HR managers.

In a proud moment for Don Bosco College Angadikadavu, Kerala, the institution was bestowed with the prestigious Deepika Academic Excellence Award at the 137th Annual Celebration of Deepika, the pioneering Malayalam newspaper founded in 1887. The award was presented on February 10th, adding another accolade to the college's illustrious history. Father Dr Bastin Nellissery, the Rector and Manager, along with Father Dr Francis Karackatt, the Principal, were honoured to receive the award from the esteemed guest, the Honourable Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, A. N. Shamseer.

The Annual Conference and General Body Meeting of the Don Bosco Higher Education India (DBHEI) was held at NBCLC (National Biblical Catechetical Liturgical Centre) Bangalore from November 10-12. The conference provided a valuable platform for Salesians from across India to share best practices in higher education and reflect on their mission to provide quality education to young people. The conference served as a catalyst for a renewed commitment to uphold the values that define DBHEI institutions and to continue fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship, social responsibility, and holistic formation among their students.

The Student Council and Cultural Club of Don Bosco Arts and Science College, Chennai , organised its first ever mega Intercollegiate Cultural Fest, JIVE’23, on March 13 and 14 with the theme “Choose life! Say no to drugs! It hosted participants from around 200+ colleges (Arts and Science, Medical and Engineering) in and around Chennai. The cultural fest had 17 on and off-stage events in which 1250 students from various colleges like Loyola, Stella Maris, Patrician, Gurunanak, WCC, MGC, St. Thomas, St. Joseph’s, MGR University, Vels University, Madras University, Stanley Medical College and Ramachandra Medical College participated.
