Heads of Dimensions, Departments, and various Commissions of the Salesian INM Province gathered on June 21 for a planning and evaluation meeting aimed at strengthening the Province’s Salesian Youth Ministry and preparing for the new academic year. The meeting allowed leaders to review last year's animation programmes, assess their impact, and set new priorities for young people's changing needs.

Fr. L. Don Bosco, Provincial of INM Province, stressed the need for a synodal approach to syllabus and programme design. He encouraged more participation, collaboration, and shared responsibility among all sectors in educational and pastoral planning. Fr. Don Bosco explained the streamlined Youth Ministry structure, naming Fr. Stalin Dhanaraj as the coordinating Delegate to focus all efforts on Ministry effectiveness across departments.

Fr. Stalin Dhanaraj offered key principles from the Salesian Youth Ministry Frame of Reference and raised critical questions to realign all efforts with the central mission of renewing and addressing emerging challenges.

The final session featured an interactive discussion among department and commission heads. They discussed two topics: syllabus and content design methodology, and how departments can support sectors for young people's holistic growth.

Participants agreed on practical steps for a more systematic, relevant, and mission-driven Youth Ministry, prioritising improved coordination and lasting collaboration across all sectors.
