Salesian Cooperators and ADMA Members Gather for Formation Programme in Goa

About 65 Salesian Cooperators and ADMA members from across Goa gathered at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Odxel, for a day of formation, reflection, and fellowship. Fr Anisio Mota, Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Family, guided the programme to strengthen participants' commitment to the Salesian charism and mission.
Mr T. K. Devasia, World Councillor for South Asia, led the animation session. He encouraged participants to reflect on Don Bosco’s life and the Project of Apostolic Life (PAL) by actively discussing ways to deepen their vocations in the Church and society. Key takeaways included the importance of active participation, ongoing personal growth, and commitment to community service.
Devasia focused on promoting Salesian humanism via kindness and service, responding to modern challenges with creativity while staying true to the Gospel and Salesian values, and encouraging optimistic, loving engagement within the community. He underlined the importance of engaging in social communication, urging participants to actively use media to spread Gospel values and to foster unity within the Salesian Family. He urged everyone to embrace the universal call to holiness, recommending Article 41 of the PAL as a practical reference for day-to-day Christian living.
The organisers, participants, and resource persons expressed gratitude for everyone's active involvement, making the gathering meaningful and enriching.
