New Khasi Book by Father Raphael Maiong explains different parts of the Mass

A book explaining the different parts of the Mass in Khasi language `Ki Jingbatai Bniah Ia Ka Iukharist Bakhuid` authored by Father Raphael Maiong of the Shillong Salesian Province[INS], was released on 26 August 2020, by Shillong Salesian Provincial Father Paul Olphindro Lyngkot.
In a brief explanation, Father Maiong said, ``The book was inspired by Archbishop Dominic Jala of revered memory. It was His Lordship who asked me to write such a book.``
Father Maiong served as the secretary of Archbishop Jala. He has also served as professor of Liturgy at the Sacred Heart Theological College Mawlai and at Orien`s Theological College. He has also earlier served as assistant parish priest at Sonapahar Parish.
