International Conference on Quantum Mechanics at St. Anthony's College, Shillong
Celebrating 100 Years of Quantum Mechanics, the Two-Day International Conference on Quantum Mechanics was held on 21 and 22 November at St. Anthony's College, Shillong, in Collaboration with NIT Meghalaya.
Father Dr. Arcadius Puwein, Principal of St Anthony's College, felicitated the distinguished guests and highlighted the significance of the event. The Students of the Department of Physics enriched the occasion with a melodious welcome song.
The Director of NIT Meghalaya delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing quantum mechanics' pivotal role in scientific advancements. Mr. Dhruv Agarwal's prelude encapsulated the conference's essence. The event set a promising tone for the conference, marking a century of revolutionary quantum mechanics.
Elsevier, the State Council of Science and Technology, the Government of Meghalaya, and the Science and Engineering Research Board, DST, the Government of India sponsored the event.
