Provincial Delegates of the Vocational Guidance Dimension (VGD) from the Salesian Provincial Conference of South Asia (SPCSA) Region met at SPCI House, New Delhi, from October 8 to 10 for their annual regional gathering. The three-day meeting focused on broadening vocational guidance, integrating discernment into youth pastoral ministry, and expanding the vision of youth accompaniment in our pastoral settings.

To showcase young people’s footballing talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship while promoting the Salesian vision of holistic development and keeping youth meaningfully engaged in sports and away from anti-social activities, St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, held the Don Bosco Knockout Football (Open Category) Tournament – Season 4.0 from September 25 to October 12. Thirty-five teams from across Tripura participated.

Believing the family is the first school of human and Christian formation, where love, faith, prayer, and witness nurture vocation, parents, formators, and pre-novices from Odisha, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh deepened their understanding of vocation at a two-day gathering at Don Bosco Yuva Kendra, Jharsuguda. The gathering helped 15 parents and relatives of 11 Salesian pre-novices understand each person's vital role in nurturing and accompanying Salesian vocation.  

The Salesian Province of Tiruchy (INT) gathered 70 representatives of the Salesian Family for the Salesian Family Live-in 2026, held on October 2–3 at Don Bosco Alaihal Media, Manikandam, under the theme “One Family – One Spirit – One Mission.”

The Altar Servers Convention 2026, organised by CHRISTODAYAM – Don Bosco Faith Renewal Centre, brought together 120 altar servers from 10 Salesian parishes of the INT Province at Don Bosco ITI, Madurai, on September 26–27.

The NSS Cell of Don Bosco College, Itanagar, in collaboration with the Department of Disaster Management, Arunachal Pradesh, held a seven-day Disaster Management Programme that concluded on August 21. The programme equipped NSS volunteers with essential knowledge and practical skills for emergency response and preparedness.
