Don Bosco Mega Job Fair Opens in Bareilly with 129 Employment Opportunities

Don Bosco Career Guidance, Training and Job Placement Services, Delhi, in collaboration with the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Diocese of Bareilly, organised the Mega Job Fair 2026 at Bishop Conrad Senior Secondary School.

The one-day recruitment drive brought together 10 companies from sectors including banking, manufacturing, IT-enabled services (ITES), retail, human resources, hospitality, medical services, and pharmaceutical marketing and sales. Of the 122 candidates who registered, 80 attended the recruitment process, and 58 were selected for 129 job opportunities.

Inaugurating the event, Fr. Royal Anthony encouraged participants to pursue their career aspirations with confidence, determination, and hope. He urged the youth to make the most of the job fair's opportunities and remain committed to building successful careers.

Mr Harish, Programme Manager of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DBJPN), introduced participants to the network's services and the JOBS DBI mobile application. He highlighted its role in providing career guidance, employability training, placement support, and post-placement follow-up, while encouraging candidates to engage confidently with recruiters and explore suitable options.

The job fair was coordinated by Fr. Vijay Tellis in collaboration with the Don Bosco Job Placement Network team and the ICYM leadership, including Mr Prateek Wilson (President), Ms Arunima Patrick Dass (Secretary), Ms Sweta Benjamin (Lady Animator), Mr John D'Souza (Media Secretary), and Mr Rahul Pius Raj (Programme Coordinator).

Organisers expressed appreciation to the management of Bishop Conrad Senior Secondary School, participating companies, human resource professionals, volunteers, and all stakeholders whose support ensured the initiative's success.
